PEMBA KIGOMASHA LIGHT HOUSE TOWER

The Kigomasha Lighthouse Tower is located on the Kigomasha Penmba in Tanzania. It's a significant navigational aid for ships traveling through the Indian Ocean. The lighthouse is situated on the eastern side of the peninsula, which helps guide maritime traffic safely through the region.

This lighthouse, like many others, plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of vessels by marking dangerous coastlines, hazardous shoals, reefs, rocks, and safe entry points to harbors. The Kigomasha Lighthouse is known for its distinctive design and its bright light that can be seen from a considerable distance, helping to prevent maritime accidents. It   structure and was built in 1904, Focal height, 38 metres (125 ft).
